Mayapple blooms near the Strawberry Mansion bridge in West Fairmount Park

The Mayapples in this cozy ravine are blooming earlier than stands in other parts of Fairmount Park.  Found on the trail between the recycling center and the strawberry mansion bridge.

The new trail is great!! There is a nice bench to sit on in the middle of a field of blooming Trout lilies and Spring Beauty.
