Wow . Bluebells eh? Just shows how we are dis-united through a common language. I am seeing Mertensia, but as an Englishman Bluebells are Hyacinthus non scripta, I wonder what Americans call them?
Mertensia Virginica indeed as far as the eye can see-commonly called Virginia Bluebells in our local parlance. good thing for the Latin names so there is no confusion!
