More Shenks Ferry Saturday April 13,2019: Part two
Shenks Ferry Wildflower Preserve April 13, 2019
We went to Shenks Ferry today and we had a wonderful time taking photographs of
the many blooming flowers. We are putting this post up as quickly as possible to inform those curious of what is currently blooming. We will post more pictures tomorrow. 
Serviceberry blooming in West Fairmount Park
Today we went for a 2 mile walk in West Fairmount Park and have observed some of the blooms. The Alleys of cherry trees were blooming beautifully. We walked the brand new trail at the horticultural center. May apples and Trout Lily were coming up. Some of the Trout lily were about to bloom!

We are very excited about the new trail and all of the restoration work done at the horticultural center ravine . Pictured above is a Trout Lily there that is about to bloom!
